Founded by Sebastian Naranjo Rodriguez, an international relations scholar with vast experience in market research, TranspacifiK Research combines multilingual academic rigor with practical relevance. We believe that high-quality research should inform better decisions — whether in government, business, or civil society. As a boutique research firm, we are able maintain tailored, close-contact with our clients.
Team
Sebastian Naranjo Rodriguez
Founder and Managing Director, Sebastian Naranjo Rodriguez has a vast experience of conducting research in both China and Panama. Having worked both for the private and public sector, he brings a practical combination of valuable skills to advise businesses and institutions when conducting transpacific exchanges.
Native to Panama, Sebastian has a Bachelors from the University of Nottingham and a Masters and PhD from Renmin University of China. He worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Panama as the head of Asia Pacific Affaris and as the Commercial Director of China for Farallon Aquaculture Group, a leading shrimp exporter in Latin America. He is fluent in both Spanish and English and has advanced knowledge of Mandarin, Italian and French.
